Exam Hall change and exam rules

For students crediting this course at IISER Pune: the lecture room for the exam on Feb 23 will be LHC 301. I assume you will be notified by the authorities directly also. The exam will be invigilated by Prof. Diptimoy Ghosh and possibly others.

In the exam you may use my PDF notes on any device (mobile, tablet, laptop) or in paper form. The authorities and also Prof. Diptimoy Ghosh have been notified about this rule. No other material is to be used, not even your own notes. Devices should be in flight mode and no internet access is allowed during the exam.

This week plans

This week (5-9 Feb) we will have a regular lecture on Tuesday and Thursday. However on Wednesday I will instead hold an informal tutorial. You may bring your questions about any aspect of the course so far. Also I will try to revise some of the topics that may have been a little tricky - depending on the questions that are asked.

Please also see the updated course plan posted on this blog. Some topics have been postponed to the second half of the course.
