Starting tomorrow (24 Jan) we will have lectures on most Wednesdays at 4:00 PM in LHC room 305, in addition to the Tuesday and Thursday slots. The detailed schedule and plan of the course up to mid-semester has been updated on the blog page.
Quiz 1 will take place this Thursday Jan 25 in the regular classroom slot (4:00 PM). The duration is 55 minutes starting from exactly 4:00 PM. This quiz (and all other evaluations for this course) will be open-notes: you may use my class notes in any form, digital or printout, including on your mobile phone. However no material other than my class notes is permitted.
(If anyone chooses to break this trust then the evaluation system for this course may have to be changed, which will affect everyone.)
